Irish is home with me now in Sisters, recovering from her fall. She received outstanding medical care in Victoria B.C., and we flew back to Oregon the Monday after her Thursday accident. She has been seen by an eye specialist and facial reconstruction surgeon at Oregon Health Sciences University. She’ll have\u00a0surgery next week, Christmas with her sons and my daughters\u00a0here in Sisters, and we plan on going out for New Years Eve, one year to the day after we had our “first date.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
